Further details about the plot and its characters are still being kept under wraps, but Daniel Craig is expected to reprise his role as private detective Benoit Blanc. Just like the first film, Rian Johnson has assembled another star-studded cast who will be joining Craig in the second installment. This includes Dave Bautista, Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Kate Hudson, Madelyn Cline, and Jessica Henwick.

Knives Out 2 will once again be written and directed by Johnson. It will be produced by Johnson and Ram Bergman. The first film had grossed over $311 million at the worldwide box office and had also received acclaimed and multiple award nominations including an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay.
